Project Management & Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO)
We prioritize strong project management on technology projects. This requires project management staff who understand what the end-user needs, how to effectively triage issues for resolution, and what to raise to government counterparts.
We bring strong expertise in the synthesis of program and policy work along with technology for human services programs. This allows us to develop a strong relationship with our clients based on confidence in our judgment.
We also have engagements where we serve in an Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) capacity. EPMO is a staff extender model that allows the government to have a vendor manage the project schedule, manage other vendors, and prioritize needs. Read more about how EPMO fits well with agile development practices.
How we train our team
We want our team to be the best. To do this, we strongly encourage all team members to obtain their Project Management Professional (PMP)® credentials. We offer an annual Project Management Exam Prep Course, Test Taking Strategies Course, to all qualifying employees. We hold weekly exam study sessions with our highly qualified and experienced trainers. We also offer continuing education through Professional Development Units (PDU) for our certified Project Managers and other interested employees. Please see below for the schedule of upcoming trainings.
- The next Project Management Exam Prep Course is tentatively scheduled for March 2020. Keep checking back for more details.
- The PMP exam study sessions occur every Wednesday at 12:00 PM ET in the Bluegrass Room. A different topic will be covered every week along with practice questions. See Kellie McDermott for more information.
- This schedule will be updated as more trainings become available.
