HealthTech Solutions welcomes Dan Roach, Julie Schwab, and George Beckett
HealthTech Solutions is pleased to welcome three senior consultants to our staff. Dan Roach, Julie Schwab, and George Beckett each bring decades of expertise in human services programming, health IT, clinical quality measurement, and management operations.
Dan Roach, M.D. joins us to lead efforts in data science, enterprise data governance, and software solutions. Dan can provide the benefit of his critical clinical, analytical, and organizational leadership experience. Prior to joining HealthTech, Dan served as the Director of Technical Solutions and Chief Data Scientist for a lead nationwide auditing and analytics firm. Prior to that, he was the Assistant Dean and Director for the Center for Strategic Health Innovation, College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama. Dan also served as Alabama’s State Health IT Coordinator, under appointment from the governor.
Julie Schwab, R.N. and George Beckett both join us from a consulting and software firm, where George served as Chief of Business Development and Julie was the Clinical Director. Each have more than 30 years of experience in healthcare and health IT.
Julie also served as North Dakota’s State Medicaid Director during planning and implementation of the Affordable Care Act. This involved large organizational leadership and critical oversight of the state’s IT systems, as well as readiness and implementation of a managed care program for the Medicaid expansion population. Julie’s nursing experience gives her clinical insight that is valuable for successful population health improvements and policy operations.
With HealthTech, George continues his long career as a health IT leader. Having served as Tennessee’s Health IT Coordinator for the first six years of HITECH implementation, George is a national leader at a catalyzing time for electronic health records and the infrastructure to support meaningful health data exchange.
“We are so pleased to have Julie, George, and Dan join us at HealthTech Solutions. Their individual and collective clinical, policy, and operational experience will be an asset as we help our state clients develop and implement strategic program changes,” said Sandeep Kapoor, C.E.O.
